Parisienne
This is an old French variety. The buds sprout in the last days of April, which makes it resistant to spring frosts. It is little susceptible to walnut blight and walnut anthracnose. The tree is lush in growth. Fruting is terminal. It produces early and bears medium-strong. We plant them here mainly as pollinators for the Elit variety. The fruit is round-oval, medium to large in size. The shell is slightly rough and brownish in colour. The kernels are of good quality, light brown in colour and can be easily removed from the shell. It can be grown anywhere in Slovenia.
