Fernor
This is a French cross between the Franquette and Lara varieties. Budding in the last days of April. It is resistant to spring frosts and very little to walnut blight and walnut anthracnose. It bears fruit very early and is very fruitful as it sprouts on lateral buds. The fruit is slightly elongated, medium-sized, with well-seamed, light-coloured and slightly wrinkled shell. The kernel is very light in colour, easy to remove and of excellent quality. It can be grown anywhere in Slovenia.
