Meylannaise
This is an old French variety. Buds at the end of April. It is resistant to spring frosts and less sensitive to walnut blight and walnut anthracnose. Grows medium to abundantly, has a terminal fruting type. Fertility is regular and medium. We plant it as pollinators for late varieties. The fruit is large, nicely roundish and has a light-coloured, smooth shell. The kernel is light and fills the shell moderately. It is suitable for all growing areas in Slovenia.
