Ronde de Montignac
This is an old French variety. Buds in the last days of April. It is resistant to spring cold, very little susceptible to walnut blight and walnut anthracnose. The fruits bear partly laterally, fruiting is regular and medium to abundant. It is planted to pollinate other late varieties. The fruit is rather small, roundish. The shell is light brown in colour, rather furrowed. The kernel is light yellow. It is successfully grown everywhere Slovenia.
